I wonder what has happened to times these days. Days seem to fly by like minutes. I plan to do this and that and whole lot of things and by the end leave so much unfinished, it makes me impatient.
There was a time when I wanted time to fly faster. When I was small and had to study, I wished I grew up fast and started earning so that I could buy all I wanted and no studies too. Heh I bet many of us would have thought that way. But now when I look back, those were wonderful days. Now I don’t even get time to relish and enjoy whatever I have got. Ok, I agree I have become lazier and don’t take time to do what I want to do. But the truth remains
Not that I’m sad about it. Just that I want more time to enjoy my time right now. It seems perfect and it seems to slip by with every passing minute. I just want to hold on to things for a while. But I know things work otherwise
So it’s fine with me to let go and grow with every day.
Enough of gyaan for the day. Now lets go in a fast flash back mode to reminisce the past two days. Lovely days and again I lost track of how they went by. Did a little shopping on Saturday with a friend and spent time with the Significant One on Sunday. Sounds perfect doesn’t it? That s the reason I want to hold on for some more time
I watched Kaminey BTW, which according to me is an ok ok movie. Not a must watch in a theater. Yea even in these times of deadly flu, we (me n partner) were brave to go out without a face mask(though the Significant One chickened and tied kerchief) and catch the movie. I’m not gonna do a review since most of you wouldn’t like spoilers, and I can’t speak without them
(let me know if you feel otherwise). But Shahid is worth a mention here. He has done a great job and I have started to like him as an actor. Priyanka is bubbly and has done justice to her role. I didn’t like the climax much.
After the movie a friend joined in and we three wen to see the flower show in lal-bagh, a decision which we soon regretted. The flowers were all dried and weather was too hot to roam around. Too much crowd causing alarm in us (of course about the flu) and we ended up hurrying past everyone to the exit. Not at all worth Rs 40 that we paid for entry ticket. We also witnessed the littering around in the park and felt sad. I for one, have decided that I will never ever go to see a flower show in Lal bagh, come what may. It is just not worth the effort.
The weekend ended with getting wet in mild showers during a ride. Reminded me of old times. All in all not a bad one, minus the flower show. And yea, time did fly. See it’s already monday evening
and I didn’t even start to feel blue.

hey… my weekend was brilliant too! watched Kaminey too – but i loved it.. loved the way it has been composed and put togather. . Sunday afternoon was spent checking out a friends cool phone and also fixing some errors with ti… – felt like a mechanic at times, but it gave me a high!
Me: Good you felt a high. It kinda makes the time spent worth it.
